The U.S. Navy is set to begin notifying more than 130,000 current and former sailors that their personal information was exposed in a data breach and “accessed by unknown individuals” The Navy says it first learned of the breach on Oct. 27, when Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services warned that a laptop issued to one of its employees “was reported as compromised” The data was accessed by “unknown individuals,” the Navy says.
