U.S. authorities have indicted six Chinese nationals for economic espionage. Authorities nabbed Hao Zhang on May 16 after his flight landed in Los Angeles from China. Zhang and a co-conspirator allegedly pilfered trade secrets from two American high-tech companies. Those trade secrets helped get the Chinese government and a leading university to back their venture, prosecutors say. The government alleges the stolen trade secrets belong to Skyworks Solutions and Avago Technologies. If convicted, each of the defendants could be sentenced to decades in prison.”]
