Anton P. Bogdanov, aka “Kusok,” was arrested in Phuket, Thailand, on Nov. 28, 2018, by Thai police. He was extradited to the U.S. last month and has yet to be arraigned. Prosecutors say he and his co-conspirators stole personal information and used it to file federal tax returns and fraudulently obtain tax refunds. If convicted of all of the charges files against him, he faces up to 27 years in prison.”]
