Microsoft study examines non-technical socio-economic factors in a country or region impact cybersecurity performance. Countries identified as “maximizers” were the furthest ahead in adopting cybersecurity policies. Countries with the lowest cyber-risks have on average more personal computers in use, higher health expenditure per capita and greater broadband penetration.
