New York-based accounting firm Deloitte suffered a breach last year that may have exposed 5 million internal emails and client data. The accountancy firm says only “a very small fraction of the amount that has been suggested” of exposed data was at risk. The firm says it notified government authorities and regulators, but only a small number of customers were affected. Deloite follows Equifax breach that exposed 143 million U.S. consumers’ personal details. The credit reporting agency has been widely criticized for failing to rapidly inform affected consumers.”]
