Omni Hotels & Resorts says hackers used point-of-sale malware to siphon off payment card data. The Dallas-based luxury hotel chain says it first learned of the data breach on May 30; it doesn’t say how. A hacker called JokerStash reportedly began selling more than 50,000 payment cards stolen from Omni in February.
