Newly Patched Peloton API Flaws Exposed Users’ Private Data

Security researchers say API flaws could have exposed the private data of Peloton fitness equipment users. The flaws could allow unauthenticated individuals to view sensitive information for all Peloton users. Peloton has more than 4.7 million members, including nearly 1.4 million subscribers. The New York Times reported that prior to being inaugurated in the White House, the prospect of use of his Peloton bike bike in New York was raising security concerns.
