Mitigating Online Fraud

Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center CEO Bill Nelson says more work is needed to curb online fraud. Financial losses linked to incidents of corporate account takeover are down, he says. Nelson recommends institutions continue to focus increasing efforts on end-user education. He says all online banking activities should be conducted from a dedicated, stand-alone computer, one where e-mail and Web browsing are disabled.
