Microsoft Warned CrowdStrike of Possible Hacking Attempt

Microsoft warned CrowdStrike earlier this month of a failed attempt by unidentified attackers to access and read the company’s emails. Reuters, citing two unnamed sources, reported that the incident is likely related to the SolarWinds breach. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency now has evidence that hackers used other attack vectors to gain access to networks and plant backdoors. CISA has, so far, not revealed the other attack vector that may have been used by the hackers. The investigation is still ongoing, but Microsoft says its products and services are secure.”]
