Feds Say ‘Multi-Tasking Doctor’ Built Thanos Ransomware

Moises Luis Zagala Gonzalez, aka “Nosophoros” and “Aesculapius” charged with attempted computer intrusions and conspiracy to commit computers intrusions. He’s accused of creating and selling multiple types of malware, including Jigsaw v2, which was first spotted in 2016. Ransomware called Thanos referenced the “torture porn” horror film series “Saw” in the film’s fictional serial killer, John Kramer, nicknamed the Jigsaw Killer.”]
