Cybercriminals are impersonating underground card shops to dupe newbies with phishing attacks, a new report from cybersecurity company Group-IB says. The report describes the card shops and associated marketplaces in the underground as the Amazons and eBays of the dark web for banking-related data. The fake shops take advantage of the prepayment process to mislead cybercriminals, the report notes.
