Equifax Breach Victims: UK Count Goes Up

Data broker Equifax has released a revised count of U.K. victims of its massive 2017 data breach. The data broker says 860,000 people in the UK had their personal details exposed. The breach also exposed 145.5 million U.S. consumers’ information. Equifax says it will write to a further 167,431 UK consumers whose information was part of a file that was exposed in the breach. Breach victims can now sign up for another service that requires only their name, gender and email address.”]
