Mobile banking Trojan known as Acecard has evolved to become one of the most dangerous banking Trojans. The most recent version of Acecard is now targeting a number of mobile applications, including nine social media apps and nearly 50 financial apps. The Trojan has the ability to intercept and steal SMS/text messages sent from banks to users and can overlay mobile app windows with phishing messages designed to entice users to click on links that infect their devices.
