1 Bank Closed on Jan. 14

Bank of the Ozarks, Little Rock, Arkansas, closed on Friday, Jan. 14. The FDIC will assume all of the deposits of the two branches of the bank. The cost to the FDIC is estimated to be $80.4 million. The bank had $230.6 million in total assets and $212.7 million in deposits as of September 30, 2010. This is the third closure of a bank that has been closed by state and federal regulators since 2011.”]
