Vendor allegedly assaults researcher who disclosed vulnerability

Atrient allegedly offered researchers $60,000 bug bounty as long as they were quiet about the flaw and waited on attorneys to draw up an NDA. Atrient COO Jessie Gill allegedly grabbed the researcher by his clothes on his chest before tearing his attendee badge away from him. Gill then allegedly sent a threatening email to the researchers. The FBI Cyber Fusion Unit set up a conference call with Atrient and the security researchers the very next day to discuss the vulnerability. Gill denied knowing Wheeler and the assault was reported to the London Metropolitan Police and ICE conference.”]
