Pwn2Own: Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari fall on day 1

Pwn2Own contest held during CanSecWest 2018 Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. Only three people competed on day one of the 11th annual contest. Contestants targeted Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Oracle VirtualBox, and Microsoft Edge. Some contestants withdrew due to Microsoft’s 75 security patches released the day before. Microsoft partners with ZDI, which paid out $162,000 for three Apple bugs, two Oracle bugs, and three Microsoft bugs as contestants targeted Microsoft’s Edge, and Oracle’s VirtualBox.”]
