Def Con hackers showed how easily voting machines can be hacked

At Def Cons hacker voting machine village, 30 pieces of election equipment sat waiting waiting for hackers to hack them. Most of the voting machines were purchased via eBay, but some did come from government auctions. It took less than two minutes for one hacker to get remote access to a WinVote machine.
