WikiLeaks: CIA used bits of Carberp Trojan code for malware deployment

WikiLeaks releases 27 documents that detail how the U.S. CIA borrowed some of the code from a Russian-made malware. The documents say the CIA used the malware to develop its own hacking tool called Grasshopper. The malware was leaked in 2013, sparking fears that more cybercriminals might use it. WikiLeaks has declined to comment on the authenticity of the documents. The agency has a library of hacking techniques borrowed from malware out in the wild, but the documents will probably help people detect the CIA’s tools.”]
