FBI arrests man for allegedly sending seizure-causing GIF to reporter

John Rivello, 29, was arrested and charged with criminal cyberstalking with the intent to kill or cause bodily harm. Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald, who has epilepsy, suffered a seizure after receiving an animated GIF of a strobe light from a Twitter user who sent it to him. The tweet caused a seizure, and the FBI was able to track down the user, who was arrested on Friday.
