Georgia’s secretary of state says the state was hit with an attempted hack of its voter registration database from an IP address linked to the federal Department of Homeland Security. Brian Kemp sent a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson demanding to know why. Kemp is also asking if the department has scanned any other states in the same way.
