DDoS attack takes down Krebs site

A giant botnet made up of hijacked internet-connected things like cameras, lightbulbs, and thermostats has launched the largest DDoS attack ever against a top security blogger. The attack was nearly double that of any Akamai had seen before. Security blogger Brian Krebs had to cancel his account because defending it ate up too many resources. The number of compromised devices in the latest botnet is still unknown, and could be as large as a million, security advocate Dave Lewis says.”]
