Hackers of two Ukrainian utilities probably hit mining and railroad targets, too

Trend Micro says the same malware used in the earlier attacks was probably used in earlier attacks. The mining company and railway operator may have been infected with BlackEnergy, the security firm says. BlackEnergy has been linked to a group nicknamed the Sandworm Team, which is suspected to be from Russia. The cyberattacks against the two utilities, Prykarpattyaoblenergo and Kyivobenergo, have caused widespread concern in the security community, which has warned that attacks against industrial control systems could cause great damage.”]
