How Yahoo email encryption could help your business

Yahoo is developing a browser plugin for encrypting messages sent from Yahoo Mail. The goal is to make end-to-end encryption easy enough that any company employee or consumer can send email over the Web that remains indecipherable until the recipient decrypts it. The company planned to release the plugin next year. The early-stage technology was expected to be much better by the time it’s released, a security researcher said. It’s not clear how the encryption key is needed to decipher the messages, and how that key would be handed to the receiving service.”]
