Apache fires at Microsoft over IE10’s DNT privacy settings

Microsoft turned on Do Not Track (DNT) by default in Internet Explorer 10. Apache Software Foundation objects to Microsoft’s DNT decision. Microsoft’s Chief Privacy Officer disagreed with the W3C’s Tracking Protection Group, stating, “We respectfully disagree with those who argue that the default setting for DNT should favor tracking as opposed to privacy” Apache server patch will override a web server’s configuration file so that it ignores IE 10’s settings.
