DevOps advocates say agile IT teams are creating more agile development and operations teams who are collaborating more closely together than before. Security managers and CISOs are concerned that by pushing updates out too quickly, security practices and quality assurance get pushed to the side in favor of agility and speed. DevOps advocate Gene Kim says that this highly cooperative and iterative environment doesnt create the shoddy environment (security wise wise) they fear: in fact it can enhance security.
