Netnod — Bad DNS information wasn’t our fault

Swedish service provider that maintains China-based root server has released a detailed statement on what they’re doing about the issue. Netnod stresses that their data was good, and I believe them. It seems completely believable that the bad DNS information was somehow being inserted in transit. The server is still offline, and we still don’t know what happened, but the company is working with CNNIC to re-establish a stable and secure service from Beijing. We have no reason to believe any ISP has sent incorrect routing information to any other ISP in this case.”]
