The Bay Bridge, which connects San Francisco to Oakland, is undergoing an epic engineering project this weekend. The project involves sliding a giant piece of bridge from one span to another 185 feet in the air. To help drivers keep track of what’s going on, a Web site counted down the amount of time until the bridge would be shut. Unfortunately, the counter was off by, oh, about 263 days when it first went live. It’s fixed now. Let’s hope this isn’t a sign of things to come though.”]
