Adobe releases its own Patch Tuesday security updates

Adobe releases security patches for Flash Player, Shockwave Player, Reader and Acrobat. Flash Player with Google Chrome will be updated automatically, so no user action is required. Adobe’s big effort is to get more customers to use the most recent versions of these programs. Adobe: “We’ve been putting a lot of incremental improvements into Reader but adoption wasnt as high as we needed it to be to be. We are adapting the auto update strategy to update the Flash player, but it’s a little more difficult because the different ways it communicates with Flash players.”]
