Security firm discloses Apple iOS “malicious profile”” vulnerability impact on MDM”

Security start-up Skycure plans to disclose a vulnerability in Apple iOS devices. It’s possible for an attacker to set up a hard to detect “malicious profile” hidden on the device to subvert the user. The vulnerability has been shared with Apple and is expected to be patched in iOS 7.1.1. An attacker exploiting this vulnerability could change the MDM settings on the user’s device or otherwise tamper with it, says CEO Adi Sharabani.
