App Advisor Security Network has profiles on more than 500,000 third-party Facebook applications. The App Advisor browser extension works with Safari, Firefox and Chrome browsers. The goal is to inform users about potential privacy risks associated with linking applications with Facebook profiles. The browser extension gets activated when users visit applications or call up an application’s page in the Facebook App Center to see more detailed information about the reputation of the application.
