Amazon Web Services is touting the security credentials of its Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Amazon VPC offers network-level access control lists (ACLs), that control interactions between web servers, applications servers and databases. VPC is housed within Amazon’s own EC2 public cloud, which has private IP addresses. Amazon CTO Werner Vogels: VPC allows your on-premise environment to grow and shrink.
