Senators seek probe of employers seeking Facebook info

Two U.S. senators call for federal investigation into social network access to job applicants’ Facebook accounts. Facebook says it’s now a violation of its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities to share or solicit a Facebook password. The American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU have also spoken out on the issue. Facebook is prepared to take legal action in these kinds of cases, Facebook’s Erin Egan said last week in a blog post that it’s prepared to make sure users don’t have to share their passwords.”]
