QNX operating system that will power future BlackBerry devices has been given a cagey thumbs up by penetration testers. NGS Secure found that RIM appears to have reduced the software’s ‘attack surface’ to a ‘considerable degree’ BlackBerry 7 will be the last BlackBerry devices to use this generation of software.
