Banks Warned on Mobile Security

IDC found a “widening gap” between IT and business executives in many UK financial services companies. The gap poses “grave operational and security risks for mobile and online services”, says IDC. Nearly all UK retail banks have launched mobile services in the last three years, says the research firm. The threat of malware being spread by mobile devices among banks and their customers is expected to increase this year, said the research paper. The research was sponsored by cloud data access firm Akamai.”]
