McAfee SiteAdvisor was preinstalled preinstalled on a relatively new machine I’m using. After disabling the extension, Gizmodo and other sites loaded much faster. If you’ve encountered slow-loading sites and you have McAfee siteAdvisor installed, I highly recommend giving it the boot.
