Anonymous claims release of BART police officers’ data

Hackers posting names, home addresses, passwords of 102 police officers in San Francisco’s BART police union. The move was in apparent retaliation for BART’s decision to temporarily cut off cell phone service to commuters last week. Earlier this week members of the Anonymous hacking collective broke into a BART website and released user names, addresses and phone numbers of more than 2,000 BART customers. BART did not immediately respond to requests seeking comment on the latest intrusion. The attacks by Anonymous against BART are similar to numerous other attacks the group has carried out recently.”]
