58 per cent of Asian manufacturers do not know how many security events have occurred in their organisations in the past 12 months, according to a newly released report by IDC Manufacturing Insights. The information security budget among Asia Pacific manufacturers is forecasted to increase at a faster pace compared to the other regions. Three quarters of the manufacturers in this region are very or extremely confident that the information held by their organisations is protected from external (77.8 per cent) and internal (69.4) attacks.”]
