A new version of Skype is now being offered to Mac users when they launch older editions of the program. The update patches a vulnerability disclosed last week by a researcher. Australian researcher Gordon Maddern said the bug could be used to build a worm. Mac users of Skype will see this dialog urging them to patch the program’s version 5.1.0.935.
