Does RSA SecurID have a U.S gov’t-authorized back door?

Analysts say RSA SecurID may have a back door built in at the request of the U.S. government. Analyst: “RSA cut a deal with the government to provide back door for surveillance work” RSA last week admitted, without providing much detail, that “certain information” related to Securid was stolen by a stealthy attack into RSA’s network. If there is any back door, the implications are particularly troubling since RSA admitted last week that it had a network breach.”]
