Twitter says it has freed UberMedia’s UberSocial and twidroyd apps from exile. UberTwitter, UberCurrent and UberSocial were temporarily shuttered on Friday. Twitter says the apps violated its terms of service. The term “#ubertwitter” jumped to the front of the Twitter trending topics line ahead of “Queen Gaga” and “Lotus Flower” UberTwitter users flooded Twitter with pleas for the apps to be back on the social network’s site.
