Amazon Invests $175 Million in Living Social

Amazon and Lightspeed Venture Partners also invest in Living Social. Groupon rival Living Social offers daily deals for local restaurants, shops and activities. Living Social currently offers deals in 120 locations and launches an average of one new location a day. The company expects to record $500 million in revenue in 2011, the company said. The Groupon has also been racking up major investments, with a $135 million infusion earlier this year.”]
