Social Networking Sites Leak Personal Info to Third Parties

AT&T Labs, Worcester Polytechnic Institute study shows social networking sites leaking personal data. Data aggregators are able to attach a unique identity to each profile, researchers say. The information allows them to scoop up personal data from a user’s social network page and to track that user’s movement’s across multiple Web sites across the Internet.
