Hacker Gonzalez Pleads Guilty to 20 Charges

Albert Gonzalez pleads guilty to 19 charges related to computer hacking and credit card fraud. He was accused of masterminding the massive data thefts at BJ’s Wholesale Club, TJX and several other retailers. Gonzalez was also indicted in August in New Jersey for the theft of more than 130 million credit and debit cards. He faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 25 years in jail in the New York case. Gonzalez also agreed to pay restitution for the loss suffered by his victims, and to forfeit more than $2.7 million, plus real estate.”]
