Independent sources are starting to see evidence of DNS cache poisoning attempts on their local networks. This appears to be an attempt to take advantage of the DNS vulnerability. The attack is believed to be the first attempt to use the vulnerability to attack the DNS cache in the wild. The attacks are believed to have targeted DNS cache attempts on local networks in the hope of taking advantage of this vulnerability. In the U.S. it is possible to use this vulnerability to kill DNS cache attacks on computers in the world.”]
