Recording Industry Wants Millions From Pirate Bay

IFPI files claim for copyright infringement from people behind The Pirate Bay. Recording industry wants US$2.5 million in damages from those behind the BitTorrent site. Swedish prosecutor filed charges against four people mentioned in the suit. The Motion Picture Association and Antipiratbyrn are expected to sue for similar amounts in the near future. Two out of five Swedish musicians want file sharing to become legal, according to a study published by Swedish paper Sydsvenskan.”]
