Patch Tuesday: Not dead yet

Microsoft has issued security updates on the same day each month since 2003. The practice was begun to make patching more predictable, especially for businesses. Windows chief Terry Myerson said in May that Patch Tuesday would not be delivered on one day of the month. Microsoft declined to say when and how security updates would be distributed to Windows 10 devices. The new operating system will debut July 29 on previewers’ PCs, five days before the launch of Windows 10, and experts say it won’t die a sure death.”]
