World Bank Launches Global Cybersecurity Fund

World Bank launches Cybersecurity Multi-Donor Trust Fund for low- and middle-income nations. The fund aims to support public sector efforts to conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments, offer technical assistance and support training and staff development. The amount of funding to be provided was not revealed. The new fund was launched with donor contributions from Estonia, Germany, Japan and the Netherlands. The bank says digital transformation offers new opportunities for economic growth and enables many countries to “leapfrog” development across sectors such as finance, health, education and agriculture.”]
