Palo Alto Networks’ Unit 42 found two apps in Google Play were collecting and leaking user data. The data could have been used to track individuals, researchers say. Baidu Search Box and Maps apps had more than 6 million downloads in the U.S. Google removed the apps from Google Play in late October.
