Apple Says Latest WikiLeaks CIA Attack Tool Dump No Threat

WikiLeaks has released a batch of Apple-focused CIA attack tools, dubbed Dark Matter. It includes malware designed to exploit Mac OS X and iOS devices. Apple contends the attacks target vulnerabilities in its software that have long been patched and users are not at risk. Apple, Google, Microsoft Refuse to Negotiate with WikiLeaks’ entreaties, saying it should use existing channels to share non-redacted details of their attack software or target hardware hardware. WikiLeaks says it attempted to make contact with Apple, but they have refused.”]
