Twitter account of FBI’s fake chat app, ANOM seen trolling today

Anom was a fake encrypted messaging app created as part of a global sting operation led by the U.S. FBI, Australian Federal Police (AFP), and other law enforcement agencies to catch criminals. As seen by BleepingComputer today, ANOM’s Twitter account @anomsecure carries a revised bio that states “we are not federal agents” Anom’s inception was part of Operation Ironside, or Operation Trojan Shield, which ran between 2018 and 2021. Law enforcement was able to arrest 800 people and seize 8 tons of cocaine, 22 tons of cannabis and cannabis resin, 2 tons of synthetic drugs.”]
